Democratic society= promote the willingness to do good for the whole community.

The use of one’s power, position, or knowledge to get what he/she wants
- What two characteristics of an action need to be present for a person to be described as corrupt?
Action needs to be intention and there must be a gain for the individual
- In the U.S, civic virtues help decrease what?

- Are civic virtues more important in a country that prioritizes individual freedom or government control? Why?
Individual freedom because people have more of an opportunity to achieve success.
- Historically why have societies believed women to be more virtues?
They raised the children and were responsible for teaching them virtues.
