group syndromes classified as treatable illnesses in certain cultures that are not recognised as such in the west
what is the emic approach
studying cultures in isolation by identifying behaviours that are specific to that cultures
What is the link between the strange situation and imposed etic?
criticised for imposed etic because the methodology is based on US views and standards.
Judgement of attachment types using it reflects US child rearing no matter what the nationality of the child being assessed is.
