A group of people having the same ideas and lifestyle
Traditions, languages…
Can be learnt and shared in society and transmitted from generation to generation

Environment, surroundings and family

What are values and examples of them?
A
Set of beliefs governing what a social group holds worthwhile and important. for example personal achievement and sanctity of life (life is valuable)

What are norms and examples of them?
A
A set of guidelines which define appropriate and inappropriate behaviour. Work hard in school, road safety etc…..

What are examples where norms and values can be different between countries?
A
Jay walking, legalisation of guns in America
