A

The teenage and student culture in Germany took up many of
the same causes of most other protest groups in the 1960s and advocated:
 Anti-war demonstrations, in particular protesting Germany’s close ally America’s involvement in
the Vietnam War
 Anti-nuclear weapons and pro-disarmament
 Equality for all in society, such as racial equality and gender equality
