reviews 15 studies that compared the US and Japan in regards to individualism/collectivism and found that 14/15 studies didn’t support the common view of differences in conformity.

Wober (1974)
A
intelligence is measured differently in different cultures. eg in Uganda it’s seen as a functional relationship between the individual and society and thus if these differences are minimised, it’s beta bias.
