Requirements that must be met before inflight planning to a new destination:
A
- Destination airport weather must meet the planning minima for use as a destination airport.
- An alternate airport must be available where the weather meets the criteria specified in flight planning for use as an alternate airport.
- Fuel is sufficient to continue to destination, plus 5% contingency fuel from a point overhead or abeam the last enroute alternate, plus minimum diversion fuel.
