practical applications - social loafing can be used within management - everyone to work hard on team projects - understanding deindividuation can help police of reducing chance of protests and riots and understanding culture politicians organise health policies

not everyone goes along with crowd behaviour - some people work hard within groups - or would never be part of a riot - collective behaviour is a combination of social and dispositional factors
