Q

What us thd procedure for a jammed aileron?

A

Qrh

Pull roll disconnect handle.
Select roll sel light on in jammed side giving control to operable side of both spoilerons.

Q

What does the bungee breakout do?

A

In the event of a pcu runaway. A signal is sent to the secu. The secu then sends a signal to respond to the operable control wheel. Secu ghen illuminates green roll sel light in front of pilot who should take control prior to pulling roll disc handle.

Q

What do flutter dampners do?

A

Prevent flutter with loss of hydraulic pressure to the pcu’s.

15
Q

What does Mach trim do

A

Adjust trim for rearward movement of center of pressure. Prevents Mach tuck.
Calculated by information from the adcs

16
Q

What must be operable for the Mach trim to function?

A

Both hstcu channels and one stab channel engaged.

17
Q

How are flaps controlled?

A

Through signals sent to the fecu from actuating the flap control handle.
The fecu commands brake release and two ac powered drive units (pdus) on the flap gearbox are energized extending of retracting flaps.

18
Q

What compromises the gld system?

A

Spoilerons
Flight spoilers
Inboard/ outboard ground spoilers

19
Q

When will the glds deploy?

A

With 2 of 3

L or r mlg wow
Wheel speed >16 kts
Radio altitude <. 5 ft

20
Q

When will glds retract?

A

L or r engine >79%

Thrust at takeoff power

21
Q

What does the takeoff config monitor?

A
Flaps
Flight spoilers
Parking brake
Autopilot
Aileron, rudder, and stab trims
22
Q

What is the purpose of the Mach transducers?

A

Supply Mach data to the stall protection system for Mach compensation of thd stall margin.

23
Q

What other computer supplies data to the sps?

A

Acdc air data computer
