Q

P Factor

A

The descending blade on the right prop has a longer arm from the c of g than the left. The left engine produces thrust closer to centre line, therefore the yaw will be greater if left fails.

Q

A

A

Accelerated slipstream. Pfactor causes more thrust on the right side of the prop. This means the centre of lift is closer to centre line on the left engine and further on the right. With left engine inop more roll will be produced.

Q

S

A

Spiralling slipstream. The spiralling slipstream coming from the right engine flows away from the vertical stabilizer and won’t counteract yaw from the loss of the left engine.
