Which attitude changes does CC/BM imply?

A

Make aggressive time estimates, don’t protect your activities
Roadrunner mentality => try to finish as soon as possible and start with next activity when previous is finished, don’t work towards milestones. Milestones give captured end dates of activities, with the roadrunner mentality it’s not sure when an activity will finish.

What is the biggest drawback of the CC/BM method?

A

You construct a feasible ALAP schedule with respect to the precedence relations and resource use. After that you calculate the buffer sizes and insert them in the proper places. Due to the insertion of feeding buffers, the feeding chain needs to shift towards the beginning of the project which can cause again a resource or precedence relation conflict. But we can fix this.
