Theft III
- the total value is less than $100

Theft II
- total value is $100 or more and less than $1000
- by means other than extortion
- A misdemeanor
Theft I
- Total value of $1000 or more
- Committed during a riot, fire, catastrophe or disaster (prevents looter)
- Theft by receiving
- the subject of the theft is a firearm or explosive, livestock or companion animal, or a precursor substance
- during the commission of the theft, the person recklessly engages in conduct that creates a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person.
- C felony
Arson II
- by starting a fire or causing an explosion, the person intentionally damages:
- any building of another that is not protected property; or
- any property of another and damages to the property exceed $750
or by knowingly engaging in the manufacture of meth, the person causes fire or causes an explosion that damages property described in 1 above.
Protected property
- any structure, place or thing customarily occupied by people, including “public buildings” and forestland
Arson I
- By starting a fire or causing an explosion, the person intentionally damages:
- protected property of another
- any property, whether property of the person or another, and such act recklessly places another person in danger of physical injury or protected property of another in danger of damage
- any property, whether the property of the person or another, and recklessly causes serious physical injury to a firefighter or peace officer acting in the line of duty relating to the fire
by knowingly engaging in the manufacture of meth, the person causes a fire or explosion that damages property described in 1 above.
With the intent to cause substantial inconvenience to the owner or another person and having no right to do so nor reasonable ground to believe the person has such right, the person tampers or interferes with the property of another.

Criminal Mischief II
if the damage exceeds $500, or having no right to do so, nor reasonable ground to believe that the person has such right:
- the person intentionally damages property of another; or
- the person recklessly damages the property of another in an amount exceeding $500
Criminal Mischief I
With Intent to damage property and having no right to do so, nor reasonable ground to believe the person has such right:
1. damages or destroys the property of another:
- in amount exceeding $1000
- by means of an explosive
- by starting a fire in an institution while committed to and confined in an institution
- livestock
- property of public utility
- by intentionally interfering with, obstructing, or adulterating in any manner the service of a public utility, etc.
2. Intentionally uses, manipulates, arranges, or rearranges the property of a public utility, etc. so as to interfere with its efficiency.
