What is cranial nerve I and what is its function?
Olfactory - Transmits smell
What is cranial nerve II and what is its function?
Optic - Vision
What is cranial nerve III and what is its function?
Oculomotor - motor to eye muscles
What is cranial nerve IV and what is its function?
Trochlea - motor to eye muscles
What is cranial nerve V and what is its function?
Trigeminal - Sensory to head and face, motor to muscle of mastication
What is cranial nerve VI and what is its function?
Abducens -motor to eye muscles
What is cranial nerve VII and what is its function?
Facial - motor to facial muscles
What is cranial nerve VIII and what is its function?
Vestibulocochlear - Hearing. maintains posture and balance
What is cranial nerve IX and what is its function?
Glossopharyngeal - sensory and motor to the pharynx and larynx
What is cranial nerve X and what is its function?
Vagus - sensory and motor to the pharynx and larynx, parasympathetic to major internal organs

Accessory Spinal - sensory and motor to the pharynx and larynx

Hypoglossal - motor to tongue

Menace response (absent in the first 14 days of life), PLR
What is the test for cranial nerve III?
PLR, medial movement of globe
