Mandibular Nerve Motor + Sensory: A- sensations from lower face + jaw B- mastication muscles Foramen: Foramen ovale

-arises from pontomedullary junction
Motor: lateral rectus of eye ball
Foramen: Superior Orbital Fissure

Facial Nerve

Motor + Sensory:
Motor: facial muscles & sublingual + submandibular glands
Sensory: anterior 2/3 of tongue
Foramen: internal auditory meatus, stylomastoid foramen

Vestibulocochlear Nerve
-arises from pontomedullary junction
Sensory: hearing & balance
Foramen: internal auditory meatus

Glossopharyngeal Nerve Motor + Sensory Motor: 1) Stylopharyngeus muscle of pharynx 2) Parotid Gland Sensory: posterior 1/3 of tongue Foramen: Jugular
