  • tensing velum

Sensory Innervation:

  • bolus manipulation
  • sensation from mucus membranes mouth, cheek and anterior 2/3 of the tongue (not taste)
  • size, viscosity, temperature, texture

  • lip closure
  • buccal tone
  • hyolaryngeal excursion

Sensory and Autonomic Innervation:

  • taste (Taste from the anterior 2/3 of the tongue)

SAI:
