(Oh! Oh! Oh! To Touch a Few Virgin Girl’s Vaginas and Hiemans)
Function of the first cranial nerve.
(Olfactory) olfaction (smell)
Function of the 2nd cranial nerve.
(Optic) vision
Function of the 3rd cranial nerve.
(Oculomotor) Motor to ventral oblique; dorsal, ventral, medial rectus m. of the eye; levator palpebrae superioris m.; parasympathetic fibers
Function of the 4th cranial nerve.
(Trochlear) Motor to dorsal oblique m. of the eye
Function of the 5th cranial nerve.
(Trigeminal) Opthalmic: sensory to and around the eye; Maxillary: sensory to and around superior arcade and lip; Mandibular: sensory to and around inferior arcade, lip, and tongue; motor to muscles of mastication except caudal half of digastricus m.
Functions of the 6th cranial nerve.
(Abducents) motor to lateral rectus m. and retractor bulbi m. of the eye
Functions of the 7th cranial nerve.
(Facial) Motor to most muscle of facial expression and caudal half of digastricus m.; taste sensation from rostral 2/3 of tongue; parasympathetic fibers to lacrimal, nasal, and palatine glands and to mandibular and sublingual glands
Functions of the 8th cranial nerve.
(Vestibulocochlear) balance and audition
Functions of the 9th cranial nerve.
(Glossopharyngeal) taste sensation from caudal 1/3 of tongue; parasympathetic fibers to parotid and zygomatic salivary glands; sensory to pharynx and carotid sinus; motor to pharyngeal m.
Functions of the 10th cranial nerve.
(Vagus) Sensory fibers from external auditory canal
Functions of the 11th cranial nerve.
(Accessory) motor to trapezius m. and partially to sternocephalicus, brachiocephalicus, and omotransversarius mm.
Functions of the 12th cranial nerve.
(Hypoglossal) motor to extrinsic and intrinsic muscles of the tongue
