Describe the cracking of liquid paraffin in the laboratory
A
The liquid of paraffin on mineral wool, in a test tube is heated.
It is the broken down into porous pot, by heat, then goes through the delivery tube.

What does cracking involve?
A
The breaking down of larger saturated hydrocarbon molecules (alkanes) into smaller, more useful ones, some of which are unsaturated (alkenes)
