A

1) The Classical Arminian View #1 - God Foresees Faith and Elects Based on That Faith.
2) The Classical Arminian View #2 - All men and women are elect in Christ who is the most important and the elected man.
3) Calvinism - God elects individuals unconditionally and at His pleasure.

What are the Key Points of the First Classical Arminian View?

A

1) Election is a Sovereign Act of God and He was under no obligation to elect anyone
2) It was an act of grace in that he chose those who were utterly undeserving.
3) It was in Christ; the Father chose in the merits of His Son.
4) He chose those whom He foreknew would believer.
5) God wants all men to be saved and has graciously granted all sufficient ability to accept Christ. (Prevenient Grace)
