Step 1=Be born on American soil,Be 35 years of age,Live in the USA for at least 14 years
Step 2=Join an political party (Preferably republican or democrat party as otherwise their is like zero chance)
Step 3=Become an candidate for your political party by winning the favour of your fellow members
Step 4=Win a national convention and become the winning candidate for that party
Step 5=Go against other presidential candidates and convince the people that you are the best guy for the job
Step 6= Win the election by winning ATLEAST 270 seats
Step 7= Enjoy being president for the next 4 years.
Outline the electoral college process
Step 1=Become an member of a political party
Step 2=Register for the area
Step 3=Win the vote by being voted by the majority through smaller campaigns or putting up advertisements like pickets with your face on them
Step 4 = Win by getting the most votes or getting the most though the preference voting system
Outline Americas response towards COVID-19
1-Highly varied between states
2-Initial presidential response limited with the closing of American borders but = Ineffective
3- Minimised the severity of the virus + Advocated against harsh measures
4.Main responsibilities =Given to states/Local gov=Hugh vacation b/c of lack of interaction between states.
Outline some similarities between Australia’s and Americas response to COVID-19
1-Most of the responsibilities was given the states rather than the federal government resulting in various levels of responses between states.
2-The Federal gov instead gave billions in funding towards states (AUS=311B/USA=5.3 Trillion)
3-Both nations were also slow to initially respond to the pandemic due to slow testing process + Inefficacy during these processes.
Outline some differences between Americas and Australia’s response to COVID-19
1-Australia was a lot more efficient in handling the pandemic economy wise with only a 7% economic decline while the USA declined by 31.7%
2-Australia was much more stricter and serious in handling the pandemic in comparison to America reducing restrictions months after the USA.
3-Because states were able to effectively communicate through the national cabinet Australian states has more simpler views to handling the pandemic whilst the United States has a much larger variation between states.
