Counterstrain + FPR Flashcards
Treatment position for Ant. C Spine TPs
AC(1) = RA
AC(2-6) = F SARA
- C Spine = BJ
- You see SARA’s ANTERIOR as you Fuck her Face
AC(7) = F STRA
Treatment position for Post. C Spine TPs
PC(1) (midline) = F only
PC(3) = F SARA
PC(2) & PC(4-7) = E SARA
- C Spine = BJ
- You see SARA’s POSTERIOR as she Exits after BJ
Treatment position for Ant. T Spine TPs
AT(1-6) = F only
(located midline on sternum)
AT(7-10) = STRA
- When sucking your own dick like a STRA, you FLEX the T Spine Anterior to push past those pesky lower 7-10 ribs
Treatment position for Post. T Spine TPs
Post. T Spine Inferolateral SPINOUS Process TPs = E SARA
(same as Post. C Spine)
Post. T Spine TRANSVERSE Process TPs = E SART
Post. T Spine Midline = E only
What SDs are Ant. Rib TPs and Post. Rib TPs associated with?
Ant. Rib TPs = Exhalation SD (depressed rib)
Post. Rib TPs = Inhalation SD (elevated rib)
Treatment position for Ant. Rib TPs
AR = F STRT
- S&R are opposite to Post. Rib(2-10) position
Treatment position for Post. Rib TPs
PR(1) = E SART
PR(2-10) = F SARA
- S&R are opposite to Ant. Rib position
Where is the Ant. L1 TP?
AL1 TP: Medial to the ASIS
Where are the Ant. TPs for L2-L4?
On the AIIS
AL2 TP: Medial
AL3 TP: Lateral
AL4 TP: Inferior
Where is the Ant. L5 TP?
AL5 TP:
1 cm lateral to the Pubic Symphysis on the Superior Ramus
What are the steps for CS treatment?
1) Find the most significant TP and maintain contact with it
2) Establish a Tenderness Scale
3) Place pt into position of optimal comfort (where at least 70% of tenderness is reduced)
4) Maintain position of comfort for 90 seconds (except for Rib TPs; 120 seconds)
5) SLOWLY return to neutral
6) Recheck the TP (no more than 30% of tenderness should remain)
Treatment position for AL1
AL1 = F STRA
Treatment position for AL(2-4)
AL(2-4) = F SART
Treatment position for AL5
AL5 = F SARA over the pubic tubercle (get it??)
Treatment position for Post. L(1-5)
PL(1-5) = E SARA
Where is the TP for the Iliacus M?
Iliacus M TP:
7 cm medial to the ASIS
Where is the TP for the Piriformis M?
Piriformis M TP:
7 cm medial to AND slightly cephalad to the Greater Trochanter
What are the general steps for FPR?
1) Start in neutral position
2) Apply facilitating force (compression)
3) Place tissue in shortened relaxed position (where it likes to go)
4) Hold for 3-4 seconds
5) Return to neutral and remove facilitating force
6) Reevaluate
