Q

What are the strengths and weaknesses of correlational techniques?

A

✅A correlational study can be conduced on variables that can be measured but not manipulated
✅A correlation can demonstrate the presence or observe of a relationship so is useful for indicating areas of subsequent experimental research
⛔️a single correlational analysis cannot indicate whether a relationship is casual, so if a relationship is found it can be due to one of the measured variables or an unknown one
⛔️correlational analysis can only be used with variables that can be measured
