Q

What is a positive correlation?

A

relationship between the two variables move in the same direction
e.g. as one variable increases so will the other

Q

What does the correlation coefficient (r) indicate?

A

the extent to which the pairs of numbers for the two variables lie on a straight line, values over 0 indicate a positive correlation while those under 0 indicate a negative correlation

Q

Why does correlation not equal causation?

A

Q

What is the difference between an experiment and a correlation?
