What is Corporate/Business culture
Shared values and beliefs of the people in an organisation, these can be real or official
Positive culture = increased productivity and employee engagement, whereas Neg culture = high staff turnover Decreased product quality
What is official culture
The desired culture a business wishes to establish that is visible through company documents includes; missions statements, polices (OHS&environmental) and CEO reports/ management statements
What is real culture
The actual or prevailing culture that exists within a business indicators include; Relations among staff, Managements style, Budgets, and consistency in style of dress and language within the organisation
What is organisational culture
The culture of a business affects the way in which the business operates this includes;
Decision making, organisational structure, communication, leadership styles, attitude towards work
