does not always have obvious symptoms. in some people it can cause chest pain(angina) or serious problems like heart attacks.
examples of the main symptoms:
-chest pain
-heart attacks
-heart failure
you can also experience other symptoms such as heart palpations and unusual breathlessness

- reducing alcohol intake

main treatment is having a healthy lifestyle and medicines. surgery may also be required if it is severe examples: -medicines -blood thinning -heart transplant -procedures/surgery -beta blockers -coronary angioplasty
