Q

What were the consequences?

A
  • LoN looked weak and ineffective as the Conference of Ambassadors’ determination held more weight than the Council’s.
  • The Geneva Protocol was drawn up in 1924 requiring members of LoN to go to the Permanent Court of International Justice in disputes BUT this was not approved by British gvt as MacDonald loses power in the next general election
