Fraternity
The sharing of common interests and beliefs.
Cooperation
Shared ownership in a society where decisions are made democratically to serve members.
Capitalism
Economic system where private actors own property and control the means of production. There tends to be a free market with the primary purpose of profit.
Common ownership
Organisations are run by the state/government for the benefit of society.
Communism
A system where there is no private property with each person contributing according to ability and receiving according to need; this is also classless.
Collectivism
A system in which society’s goals are prioritised over an individual’s goals and the community control the means of production. This holds greater practical value to economy and moral value to society.
Common humanity
Humans are social creatures who co-operate; the individual who is rational cannot be understood without reference to society.
Social class
A group of people in society who share the same socioeconomic status.
