A
Abraham believed in the One God (monotheism), and was commanded by God to travel to the promised land.

God’s mission
A
God commanded Abraham to travel to a “land that He would show him.” This became the promised land - The Land of Israel.
God promised Abraham that in the new land he would have a large family, be wealthy and also would be famous. The land would belong to him and his descendants.
