ENG START SWITCH positions?
**GROUND
open start valve
closed bleed air valve
ground starts - arms selected igniter with ESL to ide
inflight start - arms both igniters - ESL IDLDe
**OFF
both igniters activated ESL in IDLE and:
N2 57-50% / MAX 50-65% or
flight - N2 idle and 5%
**CONT
ignition to selected igniters when engine operating and ESL IDLE.
INFLIGHT - ignition both selectors when N2 below IDLE and ESL IDLE
**FLT
ignition both igniters ESL in IDLE
REVERSER LIGHTS
amber
*isolation valve or TR control valve not in commanded position
*1/ more TR sleeves not in commanded state.
*auto restow circuit activated
*failure detected in sync shaft lock circuitry
ENGINE CONTROL
ambers
Light operates when:
*engine operating and
AC ground, and
below 80kts OR 30s after touch down.
Electronic Engine Control Switches
EEC
ON - white
normal control mode
Eng ratings by EEC from sensed atmospheric conditions and bleed air demand.
ON not in view - EEC manually selected to ALT MODE.
ALTN - amber
EEC auto switch to alternate control mode or manually selected.
EEC provide rated or higher thrust
ON and ALTN view - EEC auto switch to soft alt mode.
EGT limits - observe normal and Altn mode.
MAX - Reverser command
RT lever not in down position in flight.
MAX - Reverser AIR/GRD
air/ground TR logic failed
Reverser Limited
ground
*fault in TR system
flight
*fault in rev system limits RT. TR will not deploy or RT limited to idle.
RT lever blocked reverse idle?
until TR more than 60% deployed
Locking pawl?
RTL into reverse - engages locking pawl - prevent forward TL move.
Engine start lever
IDLE
energizes ignition via EEC
elec open spar fuel shutoff valve in Wing LE.
elec opens engine mounted fuel shutoff valve via EEC.
Cutoff
closed spar/engine fuel shutoff valve
De-energize ignition system
APU MAINT light
apu main problem.
apu MAY be operated
light disarmed with APU switch OFF
APU EGT indicator -
powered 5min after shutdown
APU overspeed -
rpm exceeded - auto shutdown
overspeed shutdown protection feature failed a self test during apu shutdown.
light on with APU off - exting 5min
disarmed with APU off.
APU FAULT light
malfunction - auto shutdown
apu off - exting 5min
disarmed apu in off
APU LOW OIL PRESS
START - NORMAL
auto shutdown
