What are the absolute contraindications for COCP?

A
  1. Migraine with aura
  2. Breastfeeding <6 weeks post-partum; non-breastfeeding <3 weeks
  3. Age >35 + smoking >15 cigarettes/ day
  4. Systolic >160mmHg or diastolic >95mmHg
  5. Vascular disease
  6. Current/Hx of VTE
  7. Major surgery with prolonged immobilisation
  8. Known thrombogenic mutations
  9. Current/history IHD
  10. Stroke (including TIA)
  11. Complicated valvular and congenital heart disease
  12. Current breast cancer
  13. Diabetic vascular complications
  14. Liver cirrhosis
  15. Hepatocellular adenoma
