A

No, as long as no signs of PID.

Can consider insertion 7 days after her and her partner have been treated.

What is the risk of infection after IUD insertion?

A

1 in 300 within first 20 days.
Should return in 4-6 weeks to check on IUD for expulsion.
Counsel STI and double dutching.
