bronopol
preservative with anti-pseudomonal activity used in cosemtics, topical medications, and industry
formaldehyde donor, but not all people allergic to this are allergic to formaldehyde
caine mix (benzocaine)
a mixture of benzocaine, tetracaine, and dibucaine is used in TRUE test. If they are allergic have to test further to individual consitutents
cross sensitization common to PABA and PABA ester containing sunscreens, permanent hair dye (p-phenylenediamine), diruetics like HCTZ, sulfonylureas, sulfa antibiotics, pocainamide (important cardiology drug)
