Globalisation is how the countries of the world exchange good, services and ideas.
What is a global business
A global business is a business that operates in many countries.
What are the benefits of globalisation
- Consumers have a wider choice of goods and services at competitive prices.
- Creates employment
- Irish businesses have access to a wider market which is likely to increase profits.
What would an ethical consumer ask themselves?
- Is the product fairly priced?
- Is the product cruelty free
Unethical corporates practices include:
- Unfair labour practices such as employing children, paying unfair wages or providing unsafe working conditions.
- Not paying suppliers a fair price.
What is sustainability
Sustainability means finding ways to satisfy our needs and wants without stopping future generations from meeting their needs.
What is fair trade
Fair trade is a social movement that helps farmers and developing countries get a fair price for their crops. They grow fair trade aims to improve farmers working conditions and aims for workers to receive a decent wage. 
How can consumers protect the world we live in

- Reuse products, rather than replacing them.
