A

Proposed by Rodger Sherman. There would be 3 branches and 2 house in legislative. The upper house is called the Senate, where each state gets 2 senators and the lower house is called the House of Representatives based on population of states. It was approved on July 16, 1787

What was a Federalist?

A

Someone who believed in the ratification of the constitution. They believed the constitution would create a national government strong enough to unite the states. Some famous ones were James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay and they created the Federalist papers which were a series of essays that supported the ratification of the Constitution
