What is the purpose of the Preamble? What goals are included?

A

The preamble is the introduction to the Constitution and it states the goals to be accomplished by the government under the Constitution. The goals are to form a more perfect union, to establish justice, to provide for the common defense, to promote the general welfare, to secure the blessings of our liberty for ourselves and our posterity

The first is the Legislative branch and their responsibility is to make the laws. The Executive branch enforces the law, and the Judicial branch interprets the laws
