Phelgm Damp Syndrome - coughing with excessive white phlegm
Caution: can be quite drying

Wind Cold Invasion - stop when patient starts sweating - looks like the common cold, watery/runny nose, wheezing
Has ephedra in it - so caution in HTN, prolonged use & heat symptoms

Wind Cold Invasion with Interior Deficiency - releases the exterior from muscles, common cold symptoms with body aches, HA - not relieved by sweating

More heat clearing, less nourishing Yin

CI: Yin def., watch for heat signs as it would make phlegm worse

Rebellious Lung Qi with phlegm heat, stops wheezing/asthma, cough with copious thick phelgm - if yellow means more heat
Not for chronic asthma due to def., wind-cold w/o signs of phelgm heat

Ma zi = MAZE = intestines are like a maze
Ma Zi Ren = Hemp seed
Caution: weak/elderly
