God wants to communicate that he cares for our needs whether it is for an entire crowd or for just one person. He took it, OK thanks, he broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and gave them out, and the disciples picked up 12 baskets
What are ways to view feeding the 5000?
Jesus created food for a multitude. Jesus turned selfish people into generous people. Jesus is using this as a lesson for his disciples.
Preventing politics. What did the people expect from Jesus?
They wanted Jesus to lead them out of Roman bondage. Jesus came to lead them out of spiritual bondage
