what are the injury mechanisms for coup or contrecoup concussions?
A
Coup & contrecoup injury
- this is when the skull is relatively stationary and it hit by another object
- reults in trauma on the side of the head that was struck

A
SCAT3 (SCAT5 now)
- includes background on person
- how many concussions
- consciousness (checking motor, verbal, and eye responses)
- Maddocks score
