one’s attainment of goals, whereas others imagine ongoing process-oriented relationships. These understandings of endings have implications with regards to
the kind of relationship or encounter that has emerged. An important point to
consider though, is that all relationships have different kinds of endings

In professional helping relationships, as in teaching and learning relationships,
endings are generally expected, and in fact may be determined in the initial
contracting. Like Gavin (2005), we regard endings as a form of closure, a kind of
relationship agenda rather than a static end point. Closure therefore, symbolises
for us a process whereby an encounter or work comes to some mutually
understood ending between people.

comment on concept of reflection

Answer 2

Reflection enables you to feel that you own the
knowledge and understanding because you have been part of its creation. Ability
in reflection also implies ability in meta-cognition – thus the ability to consider your
learning behaviour. Application of reflexivity as tool can assist us in considering
what has been accomplished and how it has been done. This can improve and
foster such learning.
