In conclusion, after effectively evaluating all three sources, I think that the solution that will be most effective in reducing gender inequality is Increasing the National Minimum Wage because much can be achieved with more money. With this money, women and mothers, single ones in particular, will be able to afford more and, support their children and family effectively. With more money to take home, there is more chance of them and they will be one step closer to comfortably paying child care so they can take more hours of work.
Additionally, this increased income will encourage women to stay in work and earn the money that they deserve. If they’re encouraged to stay at a job, they will unlock potential benefits to get them higher in their department and unlock new opportunities they wouldn’t have the chance to get before. I would recommend making a minimum pay requirement for mothers and single mothers depending on they amount of children under 16 in the house, so they can get all the financial support they can get
conckusion 50/50
I could have picked the first option because it is an effective work in progress with the correct intentions and motive. It will give them chances in male dominated fields, to have the opportunity to unlock their full potential
Although one of the reasons I didn’t pick the first option is that the 50:50 policy for gender equality will take way too long to be positively and effectively implemented. This will waste lots of time, and I feel like women who are struggling would need all the help that they can get sooner rather than later.
This means that for some women, by the time this is effectively implemented and makes a big change, they would have already been struggling and suffering most of their life if not their whole life. Taking all solutions into consideration, it is quite clear that an increased in the National Living Wage is the most effective.
