A

the values, laws, beliefs, arts that bind society together. E.g language, religion, literature
Dynamic (always changing)

These way of thinking, feeling and behaving give each SOCIETY its coherence, identity and distinct way of life

important for decision making and initiating change and maintaining continuity.
eg, micro- parents
macro= politicians

Eg, police have authority to act in certain scenarios but if overstep that authority by acting in illegal manner results in abuse of power.

A

socially constructed differences between men and women. Not the physical or biological difference, but the value society gives on these differences
also refers to identities and stereotypes of masculinity and femininity, and sexual division of labour.

eg, female=quiet, sensitive, male= boistours and tought. Not based on facts but having meaning cause society gives it one
