What are system requirements?
Specifications needed for software to run correctly
Where can system requirements typically be found?
On the back of the software box or on its website
What happens if a computer does not meet the minimum system requirements?
Software may not run well or at all
List common minimum system requirements.
- Free hard drive space (e.g. 15 GB)
- Amount of RAM (e.g. 2 GB)
- Processor speed (e.g. dual-core 1.8 GHz)
What are additional system requirements that may be needed?
- Minimum screen resolution
- Video/graphics card
- Internet access
- Specific version of Windows (e.g. Windows 7 or 8.1)

How can you check your system information?

Why is it important to run a virus scan on software before installation?
To ensure it is safe and does not contain malware
