- Size of the heap - should not be less than one cubic meter (1 m³)
- Select materials with different nutrient composition
- Chop long stalks into smaller bits
- Sprinkle water on each layer

What is composting?
A
It is a purposeful compilation of plants, animals and or household waste to be decomposed by micro/macro organisms resulting in humus containing macro and micro nutrients at the desired proportion.
