Muscular Endurance
-Ability to move your body + muscles without fatiguing
e.g Boxing
Tests: -Press up/ sit up test
Cardiovascular Endurance
-Ability to continue exertion while getting energy from the aerobic system used to supply the body with energy
e.g playing in football
Tests: Cooper Run, Multi-stage fitness test
Speed
-Ability to move quickly across the ground on limbs quickly through movement
e.g 100m sprint
Tests: 30m sprint
Strength
-Maximum force a muscle group of muscles can apply againt a resistance
e.g Bicep curls
Tests: ! rep maximum test, Handgrip dynamometer test
Power
-Ability to exert a maximum force at a short a time as possible. Strength * Speed = Power
e.g Javelin, Boxing
Tests: Standing jump, Vertical Jumping
Flexibility
-Range of movement avaliable around a joint
e.g Gymnast (floor routine), balance beam
Tests: Sit n reach test
Agility
-Ablility to change direction at speed; nimbleness
e.g football turning
Tests: Illinois agility test
Balance
-Ability to stay upright or stay control of body movement
e.g Gymnast balance beam
Test: Standing stork test
Co-ordination
-Abilityto move two or more body parts under control, smoothly + efficiently
e.g Catching a cricket ball
Test: Wall throw test
Reaction Time
-Ability to respond quickly to a stimulus
e.g Reacting for a rebound in basketball
Test: REaction time ruler test
