2,000 g, 3 minutes
Spin Conditions:
Harvesting platelets or
Cryoprecipitate from plasma
5,000 x g, 7
minutes (Hard Spin)
Method of Centrifugation:
Blood is processed in batches or cycles.
Intermittent Flow Centrifugation (IFC)
Method of Centrifugation:
The processes of blood withdrawal, processing, and reinfusion are performed simultaneously in an ongoing manner.
