A
- angioplasty
- femoral popliteal bypass graft
- amputation

what is a femoral popliteal bypass graft ?
A
Diseased artery left in place, and graft bypasses diseased area

What do you monitor post op/ do (bypass graft)?
A
- skin colour
- pedal pulse
- cap refill
- temperature
- keep leg straight for 24h
- routine post op (dressing, site, etc.)

A
graft occlusion
compartment syndrome

what is are the signs and symptoms of graft occlusion?
A
- pallor
- decreased pedal pulse
- decreased temp
- sudden increase in pain

what is compartement syndrome?
A
increased pressure inside a muscle compartment due to swelling that can impair bloodflow

- Pallor
- paresthesia
