How does the CMDT’s policy on fraternization apply to instructors?

It is an instructor’s responsibility to meet the five basic levels of Maslow’s Theory in the classroom.
What is an instructor’s responsibility as far as classroom safety?
Look for tripping hazards, wet floors, poor lighting, bad ceiling tiles. Read and point out directions, like where to go for an emergency.
How is an instructor responsible for the student’s safety?
Look out for fatigue, illness and tripping hazards. Maintain situational awareness when conducting training demonstrations.
How is the instructor responsible for safety during classroom activities?
Practice safe sessions and use proper PPE.

Purpose and character - for commercial or non-profit?
Nature of work to be used - Fair Use applies more to non-fiction than fiction. Fiction/creative works are more protected. Unpublished weighs against fair use.
How much of the work will be used - the more you use, less likely you are to be within fair use.
What is the effect of the use on the market for work- find out if the work is available for purchasing or licensing. Occasional quotation vs. reproduction of entire works.
Explain the purpose and character part of the Fair Use Balance test.
It depends on whether you plan to use the material for your own monetary gain or for educational/non-profit uses. The latter would be acceptable.
