Explain the function of the Operation Training branch.
They analyze workforce performance problems. They oversee operational ratings, such as BM, GM, ME, MST and OS. Their responsibilities include cutter ops, intelligence, marine safety & stewardship, ITRO and MOUs w/ DOD services.
Explain the function of the Mission Support Section.
MS also focuses on workforce performance problems. They oversee the support ratings like, FS, SK, HS, ET, IT, EM and MK.
They are responsible for training management and training systems, SOP and they handle requests for analysis.
Explain the function of the Educational & Professional Development Section
They manage the EPQ system, oversee the CG Institute, approve curriculum outlines for TRACEN CM and the LDC. They also manage the CG voluntary education program including TA, DANTES and SOC. TRACEN CM falls under EPD.
Explain the function of the Advanced Distributed Learning Section.
They are responsible for the LMS, MT and e-learning development, e-testing, surveys and skillsoft.
