What is matter?
Matter is anything that takes up space
What are elements?
A substance that is made entirely from one type of atom
What are chemical changes ?
Chemical changes is when you combine two different elements to form a new substance that wasn’t there before.
What are Physical changes ?
Physical changes are when you change the state of matter of an element but don’t create a new substance.
What are atoms?
Atoms are a unit of an element
What are subatomic particles ?
Subatomic particles are what make up an atom
What are protons ?
The positive charges of an atom located in the nucleus
What are neutrons ?
Neutrons are neutral charged subatomic particles located in the nucleus
What are electrons?
The negative charges of an atom located in the electro cloud outside of the nucleus.
