Recognize the conflict and stop the action from happening, determine. what the conflict is and identify who the participants are, determine whether or not any department policies, procedures, rules, or regulations have been violated. Determine the solution based on policy, experience, and supervisor input, determine whether the issues should be solved individually or in a group setting and when. Implement the conflict resolution plan and set expectations, follow up, ensure resolve, and keep your supervisor informed.
