Define community based rehabilitation
Is a strategy within community development for the rehabilitation equalisation of opportunities and social integration of people with disabilities. It is implemented through combined efforts of disabled people themselves, their families, community, appropriate health, education, vocational and social services.
Explain the Key areas of CBR
Health - helping people to achieve their health, rehab, promotion and prevention.
Education - educating them about the area, lifelong learning.
Livelihood - self employment and financial services.
Social - personal assistance, culture, arts and justice.
Empowerment - political participation, advocacy and communication

Awareness building - how do you make people aware.
Animation - make them realise the importance of the project.
