Head drops forward to protect the throat

Aggressor breaks eye contact and looks at target area

What are the 5 steps to tactical communication?
Ask – ethical appeal, most people respond to a direct request from police
Why – explain why
Options – tell the person what they can expect to gain or lose
Confirm – tell them what is required.
Action – choose an appropriate action from the tactics model

It refers to the PERCEPTUAL DISTORTIONS encountered by officers under severe stress
